Walk into Dr. Beal's office for the first time and you'll wonder if
you're in the right place. "This is a dental office?" is the comment
often heard from first-time visitors. But then they notice the large
framed photo of a smiling three-year-old child wearing a dental
smock. The photo is of Dr. Beal himself, and for as long as he can
remember he has dreamed of becoming a dentist. |

After his first year in dental school, Dr. Beal spent the summer
working as a dental manufacturer's representative. During this time,
he called on literally every dentist in the San Diego County, all
the while keeping notes on the back of business cards. He recorded
what worked and what was dreadful about working in the dental field.
By 1987 when Beal graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry, and
his childhood dreams began to take shape, he had gained the wisdom
of over 1,000 dentists. His office was going to be different.
Today, Dr. Beal has two offices which focus on pampering and
soothing even the most fearful patients. La Boca Fina, ("the
exquisite mouth") is located in the North County coastal town of
Encinitas. Here, Dr. Beal provides comprehensive dental care in the
full service Day Spa environment. Busy professionals are treated
with individualized, superior care - enjoying massage, aromatherapy,
and heated neck pillows, with their dental treatment.

La Boca Fina took five years to create from concept to reality.
Three years later, after he was satisfied with La Boca Fina, Dr.
Beal designed and built another office here in Temecula to provide a
sanctuary for the care and comfort of families. "The Oasis" offers
comprehensive, superior dental care built around a family friendly
setting. Neck rolls, televisions in the ceiling, and laughing gas
are some of the amenities provided to create a relaxing spa-like
atmosphere. The décor is bright and friendly with many of the walls
displaying artwork created by Dr. Beal's own children. Simple ideas,
like completely hiding dental equipment from view help to reduce a
patient's anxiety. Dr. Beal's extra attention to comfort, along with
added distractions, removes obstacles that otherwise keep patients
from seeking needed dental care. |

The staff of the Oasis offers the perfect blend of professionalism
and warmth. Everyone has been specially trained to meet the needs of
their patients, from explaining complex procedures, to easing
anxiety and fears. Their aim is to assure that every visit is a
success. One comment that resonates with Dr. Beal came from a patent
that said, "This is the first relaxing time I've had to myself in a
week!"
Offering extensive dental services including cleanings, braces,
cosmetic procedures and complete mouth rehabilitation; the Oasis

Long before "extreme makeovers" Dr. Beal was providing a "Fresh
Start" not just to the affluent, but for other well-deserving
patients through volunteer work with interface UCSD and Fresh Start
Surgical Gifts. He is currently serving as Dental Director for
interface UCSD and is the past-president of the Board of Fresh Start
Surgical Gifts. He routinely scrubs with the best surgeons in San
Diego, creating balanced, natural beauty for all of his patients.
After nearly two decades practicing dentistry, Dr. Beal's enthusiasm
and determination remain the same as that of the three-year-old boy
